Days 5 and 6

On Friday, we drove for approximately 5 1/2 hours to Palmyra. We stayed at the Palmyra Inn. It was all decorated for Christmas and was lovely, warm, and inviting. We took care of Lucy the next morning, while taking a tour of the Smith farm, so that Tom and Amanda could attend a temple session together. Then we visited the sacred grove, the E. B. Grandin Print Shop, where the first copies of the Book of Mormon were printed, and the Hill Cumorah.
